Sandra Betts
Managing Director
Sandra Betts is a specialist in Business Strategy and Change Management Consulting, transforming business performance, through step changing people & organisation capability. Through her successful consulting practice, THE HUMAN DIFFERENCE, Sandra operates as a strategic business partner to world class businesses and brands, leading major strategic and organisational change, in Australia and internationally.
With a reputation for delivering transformational outcomes, a highly committed and differentiated approach and uncompromising standards, she has built deep, long term relationships, as a trusted confidante and advisor to CEO’s and senior business leaders of leading client organisations, across multiple sectors and geographies. Her expertise spans business strategy and change management consulting, executive coaching, Board & Leadership Team facilitation, HR & talent strategy and Executive Search.
Concurrent with her corporate work, over the past 20 years, she has partnered some of Australia’s leading social ventures and entrepreneurs in pro bono advisory, coaching and consulting. By invitation of Australia’s Ambassador to the United Nations, Sandra co-presented at a Roundtable, United Nations, Geneva in 2018 on innovative solutions in Employment for Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
Sandra’s Board experience includes Chair of the Board for CareerSeekers, having been a Board Member since its inception and Board member of the School for Social Entrepreneurs. She participates on a number of Advisory Boards and Think-Tanks and is the recipient of multiple awards in recognition of her social impact work, including Most Valuable Player Award, Pro Bono Partner Award and Chair’s Award for Outstanding Commitment and Leadership. In 2023, Sandra was named in the NSW Parliament, as one of the “Community Heroes” for her service to community, during the Currowan Bushfire, 2019/20 Black Summer Bushfires.
Sandra is grateful for the opportunities for inspiring, challenging & rewarding work as a change agent and a trusted confidante to business leaders, a provocateur, coach, a partner to business leaders and social entrepreneurs making a difference in the world, and in life, as a mother, an intrepid traveller, keen photographer and for weekends on the south coast.
Sandy’s photography of the Black Summer Bushfires 2019/20, has been published internationally and images acquired by Netflix & screened in a multi-award winning program.
Sandy previously worked in HR Director and business transformation roles across Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific and in the United States. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Economics, University of Melbourne.
